The strongest technical aspect of this pice is the forehead of Shrek. It took a lot of work to get it positioned in the perfect spot so it actually showed his forehead. Donkey is something that could be worked on. I could add more detail into his face. The most difficult part of this activity was finding a picture. I had a lot of trouble coming up with an original idea for it. I demonstrated the objective by morphing this scene with Shrek and Donkey into a bunch of texts. If I could do this again I would chose a different picture.
Collin Hensel In my project, the strongest technically part is the faded text, at the bottom, with a drop shadow behind it. I think that this makes the water look a lot better than if I just used normal text with no effects on it, and adds another level to the design. I think that the mast of the boat could be better, but I don't know any way to do it. I would like it to be more filled instead of how it looks now. The easiest part of this was adding the gradient to my background. The rest of the project took a lot more than lining up where I wanted the gradient to end than this did. The most difficult part of this was warping the S into my sail. It took a while for it to turn out the way that I wanted it to. I demonstrated the objected of this art activity by making a boat out of S's, and utilizing the tools that were introduced in this. If I were to do this again, I would probably chose a different letter to make it easier to do certain designs, like a C instead of my S...
THe shrek areas seems to be your main focus and where the effort was put in the donkey seems a bit rushed and could have similar care and details.
